BOWTIES

The bow tie is the most classic of all ties. After all, it was the first real knot for neckwear, dating back to the 1700's. The bow tie's resilience is largely a function of the knot's simplicity. For all its highs and lows over the centuries, the bow tie remains fashionable.Today, the colors and designs of bow ties have exploded. Men are now reassessing the bow tie as a fashionable alternative to men's neckwear. The skill required to tie a bow tie is essentially the same as that of tying your shoes, it's as simple as that.

Check out this tutorial on how to tie a bow tie. Enjoy!

In the know

Balloon incident, is a hoax

Apparently, the 'balloon boy' incident was just a hoax and now authorities in Fort Collins, Colorado quite possibly may press charges against the parents of Falcon Heene.

If the incident was a hoax, the only charge local authorities could press would be making a false report to authorities -- a Class 3 misdemeanor, according to CNN.

The incident unraveled when footage was released on Thursday depicting a massive balloon floating in the sky. Inside that balloon was supposed to be Falcon who weighs 37 pounds.

It ended when Falcon climbed down from the attic above the garage at the family's home, according to CNN.

His parents Richard and Mayumi Heene have been subjected to media scrutiny since the balloon took off. However, the funk didn’t hit the fan until the little boy expressed on national television that he thought the purpose of the incident was to gain notoriety.

CNN, reported today that the Heene's met in acting school and also that Mr. Heene was plotting this event to gain some sort of media coverage with his name smeared all over it.

Some of you may have also seen the Heene's on ABC's "Wife Swap." The Heene's have also released videos of storm chasing and online activies.
