Ethopia urgently seeks food

6.2 million People need food immediately in Ethiopia. On Thursday, the AP reported that the crisis stems from a prolonged drought that has hit much of the Horn of Africa, including Kenya and Somalia.

Drought is especially disastrous in Ethiopia because more than 80 percent of people live off the land. Agriculture drives the economy, accounting for half of all domestic production and most exports, according to the AP.

25 years ago, famine killed 1 million Ethiopians. Because of this incident; the largest charity campaign was developed to help Ethiopians.

Traffic stop, causes meth lab sting

Five men were arrested Wednesday night after they were stopped during a traffic stop. The incident happened in Miner, Mo.



Chief Moore says the driver was arrested for not having a license, but then the officer also found he had illegal drugs. The officer then searched the vehicle and found what police call precursors for making meth.


The officer arrested all three people in the vehicle.


Coincidently the arrest led to 2 more arrest in Sikeston, Mo. The men, who were arrested there, were found in a hotel with a meth lab.


Unfortunately, in the presence of the meth were 2 children, a toddler, and an infant.
